San Augustin / Basilica Minore del Sto Niño

The oldest religious relic in the country, San Agustin Church, was given as a baptismal gift by Magellan to Queen in 1521. The church survived fires and other catastrophes throughout the years. However, the small Jesus statue in the church was left untouched. This was discovered by Juan de Camus later. He built the church there and many people worship the statue because of such miraculous event.
