Hello! My name is Barry and I’m a Belgian student.
At the beginning, I was a little bit hesitant to learn English in CPILS.
When I arrived there, I realized that I was wrong because CPILS is the perfect place to learn English and meet friends from the different parts of the globe.
The locals and the students from other countries are very friendly and interesting. From them I learned about different cultures and traditions.
One thing I admire about CPILS is their one to one class.
In the class, it’s only you and the teacher so you have to speak English all the time since there is no way for you to speak your native language because the teacher doesn’t understand it.
CPILS has a lot of teachers, and all of them speak English well and is well-versed in teaching the language.
I feel like they can speak English better than their own language! And now I know why.
It’s because in the Philippines, there are more than seventy different languages and people use either English or Tagalog (their official national language) to communicate with their fellowmen in the other islands.
Since they speak English most of the time, there is no difficulty for me to buy something, travel, and get my basic needs.
For me CPILS is the perfect place to practice my English skills and also to live in a good atmosphere.
It’s a real and amazing pleasure to be one of CPILS students.
